  • How do I join a Faith and Liberty Virtual Group Session?

    1. Click the “FLDC” logo in the top left of the browser window.

    2. Then click on “Join Group Session”.

    3. Follow the instructions on the screen, click “Enable Permissions and Get Started”.

    4. Finally make sure your audio / video is working and click “Join Call”.

  • After clicking the link to join, all I see is a blue screen. What do I do?

    Try refreshing your browser a few times. If that doesn't work, try to open the link in a new browser. Some older versions of browsers don't agree with the new system. Chrome and Explorer tend to work well.

  • Troubleshooting: Enable Permissions to Get Started

    In order to join the video call, you will need to allow the app access to your camera and microphone. Clicking “Enable Permissions and Get Started!” will prompt you to grant the app access to these. Please note that depending on the browser you are using the specific steps may vary slightly.

    If you accidentally select “Block” you may have to manually allow these settings. Select “Always allow…”

  • My video/camera isn't working

    Test your video before joining the meeting. The first drop down available allows you to select the camera that will be used for the Group Session. Also, ensure that the “Video” toggle is enabled. If you do not see your camera / video follow the steps below.

    • Make sure all other applications that use your computer's camera are closed.
    • Restart your computer.

  • My Audio Isn't Working

    Test your audio before joining the meeting. Ensure that both your speakers and microphones are selected. Validate that the input level meter is responsive to your voice. If your audio continues to not work follow the steps below.

    • Close your browser and revisit your FLDC Group Session.
    • Validate that audio is working on another service. (i.e. play some music through your speakers)
    • Restart your computer.

  • The video is choppy

    There can be many different reasons for poor video quality during the Group Session, from internet speeds to external video integrations issues. To trouble shoot any issues you may be experiencing consider the following:

    • Test your internet speeds using a tool such as http://www.speedtest.net/ . We recommend an internet speed of 1.5 mbps.
    • Hardline connections are faster and more reliable than Wi-Fi
    • Some other trouble shooting tips include: Mute your mic when not speaking; Disable your camera
    • If you are still experiencing issue try restarting your computer and rejoining the Group Session.
  • There's an echo in my group session

    Echo on a Group Session can be caused by many different reasons such as a user joining the session from multiple devices or multiple users joining the session from the same location. To troubleshoot any issues you may be experiencing consider the following:

    • Mute your mic when not speaking
    • Use headphones
    • Ensure you’re not in the immediate vicinity of another participant of the meeting. If you are, this could be the cause of the issue. Consider only using one participants mic and speakers.
